Skim is a small utility that fetches a web page and returns its readable content as clean Markdown, purpose-built to feed AI agents — over MCP or a plain HTTP request. It's free, needs no signup and no API key.
Skim performs a straightforward HTML→Markdown transformation. It does not call any large language model; the conversion is deterministic string processing at the edge.
